In Dave Dombrowski's reign as CEO, president and general manager of the Tigers, no player has gone all the way to arbitration, and the organization put itself well on its way to having that streak continue this year, signing six of their seven arbitration-eligible players to one-year deals.

Friday was the deadline for eligible players to exchange figures with their clubs, but the Tigers later signed 1-year deals with Rick Porcello, Doug Fister, Brennan Boesch, Phil Coke, Austin Jackson and Alex Avila, thus avoiding the process.

According to CBS.com's Jon Heyman, Jackson will get $3.5 million, Fister $4 million and Avila $2.95 million next season.

MLBTraderumors.com had Porcello's deal at $5.1 million.

MLB.com's Jason Beck reported that Boesch will make $2.3 million, and Coke will get $1.85 million.

The Tigers later confirmed all of the signings, but dollar amounts were not disclosed.

Coming off a season where he finished second in all of baseball in strikeouts, Max Scherzer is the lone arbitration-eligible player left unsigned for the Tigers. According to Heyman, the two sides were $1.35 million apart in their submitted numbers, with Scherzer asking for $7.4 million.

Scherzer made $3.75 million in 2012.
