Miggy's inaugural Baseball ProCamp set for Lake Orion HS

Want to learn from the best hitter in the American League?

You can do just that when the Detroit Tigers’ Triple Crown winner, Miguel Cabrera, hosts his inaugural Baseball ProCamp at Lake Orion High School on Aug. 1.

The camp, open to boys and girls ages 6 to 14, will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on what’s scheduled to be Cabrera’s off day between home series vs. the Nationals and White Sox. The Tigers star will be joined by a group of the top prep and college coaches from the region.

Cost for the camp is $99 — which includes a T-shirt, goodie bag and an autographed team photo with Cabrera — but readers can get $15 off the camp by registering before April 1, and entering the promotional code “OaklandPress” at checkout.

Go to www.MiguelCabreraCamp.com to register.
