VIDEO: Miguel Cabrera bashes 452-foot home run off the center field camera well

DETROIT >> Miguel Cabrera can hit some poster-perfect home runs.

He may have outdone himself on this one.

The Tigers slugger hit his 13th home run in the sixth inning of Friday’s game, clanging it off the roof of the camera platform that’s suspended halfway up the center field wall at Comerica Park.

“It’s not right,” catcher James McCann said. “It’s not fair.”

It measured at 452 feet, according to ESPN. The wall is 420 feet away from home plate.

It was Cabrera’s 403rd career home run, and his 265th with the Tigers, and gave the Tigers a 3-0 lead over the Cleveland Indians at the time.
